Welcome to the New Members Department!   

In John 15:16 Jesus is quoted, "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you." The Constituency of the Texico Conference takes these words as a two fold promise and charge.

The first part of this promise and charge is to bring forth fruit.The Constituency of the Texico Conference renewed its conviction to make Public Evangelism its primary emphasis. Convinced that God has promised to bless His church's efforts in reclaiming all His children and preparing them to meet their God and Savior, we are working diligently to spread the gospel throughout our territory. We are excited to report that we have more than doubled our membership since 1996!

The second part of this promise and charge is that the fruit should remain. The Constituency also realized this and made New Member Retention an equal Conference wide priority. To help realize this goal, the Conference offers satellite dishes with Adventist programming free to new members* of our Texico family, with costs being covered by the Conference and the local church. We have found that this 24/7 Adventist programming provides a great opportunity for spiritual growth and acclimation into the family of God.  Our studies show that those who watch these programs regularly are more likely to attend and remain in the church.  May God continue to bless all our new members.  Welcome to the family!
